The Seminar will be held in the month of September at the Bunker, Ibadan. Seminar attendees include: editors, directors, artist, cameramen, animators, contractors, government officials, consultants and many other industry professionals.
The first day will be the festival opening. This day will be the official opening of activities (theme session, keynote speech), press parley, film show and more. This day will equally feature the first sets of masterclasses, film shows, and Art-Hangout where festival participants / audience can experience the creativity of African Art & Culture.
The second day will feature masterclasses, mentoring session, film shows and film networking . An Evening with the Brands where we will connect our Sponsors and brand with filmmakers, film enthusiasts and festival participant . (A park in film show)
The grand finale, will feature film shows, film summit, special meet and greet with industry major players and the Award Night.
It is Ibadan International Film Festival hope that it will help lay a foundation for new and upcoming filmmakers, further the careers of more established professionals, inspire its patrons, and make Ibadan a film epicentre for years to come.
Our goal is to bring filmmakers and audiences an experience unlike any other; one that not only rewards but advances careers for these creative minds.
To create a platform for filmmakers (upcoming and made) can showcase their work of art and also further improve on the growth and development of filmmaking in Nigeria.
